Webinar Description:

This webinar series is a three-part series which includes: “Preparation – The Foundation for a Successful Job Search;”  “Resumes and Cover Letters – Content & Format;” and “Interviewing – Telephone, Skype and Face to Face.” Topics covered during the webinar will be geared to residents, but will be of value to anyone seeking or planning a position change or a first position – resident or supervisor. The webinars are designed as a series, but it is possible to sign up for 1 or more sessions.

How aware are you what you do in your job? What is it that makes you unique and attractive to potential employers? How clearly, concisely and comfortably are you able to describe what you do to others? During this webinar you’ll be encouraged to become more familiar with your professional self. You’ll begin thinking more specifically, as you start filling in a “background worksheet,” about what you do and how well you do it. You’ll be challenged to consider developing your “personal headline” and CART stories. Participation in this webinar will give you the need foundational tools for what’s next – resumes, cover letters and interviewing.
