We are now accepting applications for the ACPE Boisen Scholars Program!
ACPE News | January 20, 2020
Thanks to the generosity of donors to the Foundation for ACPE, this opportunity will provide funding support for ACPE students to attend the Partners for Professional Excellence in Spiritual Care Joint Conference, “20/20 Vision: The Future of Spiritual Care” in Cleveland, Ohio (May 11-14, 2020). ACPE students include Level I and Level II students, Psychotherapy student members, chaplain residents and Educator Candidates. All ACPE Certified Educators and Psychotherapists should encourage interested students to apply for this opportunity.
The Boisen Scholars Program promises to be a meaningful professional development experience. Not only will selected scholars benefit from the rich programming of the momentous 2020 Joint Conference, scholars can also develop relationships with peers and future colleagues in the spiritual care field.
In the words of 2019 Boisen Scholar Lisa Taylor, “This experience helped me to begin building professional relationships with a diverse group of people. I came to the conference feeling overwhelmed and empty. I left feeling excited and energetic, calm and content, peaceful and powerful, with the momentum to finish my ACPE certification process strong.”
Funding support will include the full cost of an all-inclusive conference registration plus a stipend of up to $400 towards travel and lodging for the conference. *Please note that all selected Boisen Scholars will be asked to submit a final reflection and expense report 30 days after the conference.*
All applications are due by 11:59PM EST on February 14, 2020. Apply here.
