Community of Practice Manual Now Available
By Barbara Bullock, Chair, Professional Well-Being Committee | June 3, 2019
The Professional Well-Being Committee met for two days in Scottsdale, Arizona prior to our annual conference last month. Communities of Practice were central to our conversations.
In the coming year, we will build additional resources to support the leadership and development of ACPE Communities. To that end, we have developed a manual for both conceptual and logistical support. The manual has been approved by the board, and is now available on the ACPE website. Additionally, each CoP will have a liaison who is a member of the Professional Well-Being Committee. This liaison will be in touch with CoP coordinators to offer support in creating processes and structures that contribute to the professional development and well-being of our organization.
If your CoP plans to apply for funding for 2020, please note that the deadline to submit funding requests is July 31, 2019. A link to the funding application will be made available mid-June.
