Funding for Innovative CPE Projects
ACPE Newsletter  |  April 2016
The 2016 Innovative Program Award grant cycle is now open! Applicants are invited to submit proposals for innovative CPE projects that do not exceed $5,000

This year, $15,000 is available in grant funds, as funding is currently limited to a percentage of the funds raised by the ACPE Sowing Seeds for Our Holy Work Annual Campaign. The 2016 Innovative Program Award application and proposal outline may be accessed by clicking HERE.  Stay tuned for more details on an informational webinar about completing Innovative Program Award proposals to be presented in June 2016!

Please submit a complete application and proposal (5 page maximum) in PDF format via email to Jasmine T. Okafor by August 5, 2016.

Please include the following information in your proposal materials:

1.  A completed application form with two signatures, one of the principal officer of the governing board, and one of the person who will administer the program/project.

2.  A concise description of the program/purpose for which the grant would be used following the proposal outline.

3.  A definite plan and timetable for beginning and completing (if applicable) the program/project.

4.  A fully-allocated, itemized budget of expenses and revenue related to the total cost of the project. Make certain that your budget reflects all activities listed in your project plan, and includes support provided by your organization. Next to each revenue line, indicate whether the revenue has been “secured” or is “pending.” The requested amount of funds from ACPE should not exceed $5,000.

If a proposal does not meet the funding criteria (see Guidelines), the applicant will be notified immediately. Eligible applicants may be asked for additional information that will be due September 9.

At its November 2016 meeting, the Foundation Board will approve funding based on the Program Award Committee recommendations. Award recipient(s) will be notified no later than December 1, 2016, and funds will be disbursed in the first quarter of 2017.
