Morton Plant Hospital Association Inc (MPHA) CPE Program located in beautiful Tampa Bay Clearwater, FL—has opportunities available for residents:

Residency: there are opportunities for five residents to serve at Morton Plant Hospital.  The three unit residency runs 8/13/18 through 8/16/19. Stipend: $34,000 plus benefits.  Tuition: $225 per unit. Prerequisites: minimum of one unit of CPE required; connection to a faith group; a master’s degree in theology/pastoral care preferred.

The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, is accepting applications for a three-CPE unit, year-long, full-time residency program (8/20/18 –8/16/19). Eight chaplain residents work with a team of staff chaplains in this Level I Trauma Center, a 1300-bed academic medical center. Residents share on-call responsibilities, cover designated clinical units, and gain specialty experience. Previous accredited unit of CPE required; M.Div. or equivalent degree preferred. Annual compensation totals $30,500 plus benefits; no tuition. Mercy Health St Vincent Medical Center (MHSVMC), Toledo, Ohio, a 450+ bed major tertiary teaching and regional Level I Trauma center, has an exciting opportunity for four full-time CPE Residents to work with its dedicated Spiritual Care Staff. Mercy Health St. Vincent, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, has long been a leader in Northwest Ohio at providing quality medical care/education and promoting community development with a bias towards the under served. The 3-unit residency will run from 8/27/2018-9/07/2019. The annual stipend is $31,000 plus health benefits. Tuition is $325.00 per unit.

Pacific Health Ministry (PHM), Honolulu, Hawaii is accepting applications for a year-long Residency CPE Program (4 units) from 9/1/18 -8/31/19 and one full­ time Residency Summer Unit (1 unit) from 6/4/18-8/17/18.

Baptist Health Louisville in Louisville, KY, is currently accepting applications for our paid full-time residency program beginning in August, 2018. The residency is focused on crisis ministry and involves two nights of on call per week. The year-long residency includes three units of ACPE CPE. Applicants are required to have a M.Div. Mayo Clinic CPE, Rochester, Minnesota – Three resident positions beginning September 4, 2018 through August 31, 2019, three units of CPE spread out over a 12-month residency.  Residents are offered a broad array of clinical opportunities, which include medical and surgical subspecialties, diverse intensive care unit ministries, organ transplantation, a children’s hospital, a psychiatric hospital, hospice, and a level 1 regional trauma center.   Two different hospital campuses make this a uniquely powerful learning environment.  Mayo Clinic health and dental benefits are available to Residents at reasonable rates.   The Resident stipend is $29,800 for 12 months.  There is a $50 application fee.  Application Deadline is March 15, 2018.
