Baptist Health System, San Antonio, TX is accepting applications for a 2017-18 Residency position beginning 8/28/17 – 8/24/18.  Stipend: 1st yr $30,000; 2nd yr $30,500.  One unit of CPE is required for residency applicants.  The CPE program is integrated into the faith-based mission of Baptist Health System through its Mission and Ministry Division.  BHS includes six acute-care hospitals, which provide a rich diversity of clinical experiences for students.  The CPE program is guided by two ACPE Supervisors working closely with an experienced chaplain staff to provide an excellent context for learning.  Contact Rev. Residency: there are opportunities for five residents to serve at Morton Plant Hospital.  The three unit residency runs 8/21/17 through 8/17/18. Geisinger Medical Center has four Residency positions available beginning August 21, 2017 through August 17, 2018. Stipend is $35,000.00 plus medical benefits.

University degree and (1) prior unit of CPE required. M.A., Master of Divinity, or Master of Theology preferred. GHS is the largest rural health system in Pennsylvania with Geisinger Medical Center (GMC), located in Danville, Pa., the largest tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital in the region. GMC is licensed for 475 beds, including 89 pediatric beds in the Janet Weis Children's Hospital.

GMC, a Magnet Hospital, maintains the region's only Level I Regional Resource Trauma Center with additional qualifications in pediatrics. GMC offers an array of highly specialized medical and surgical services, including neurosciences, cardiovascular services, transplantation, women's health, oncology and orthopedics. The Hospital for Advanced Medicine serves as an integrated center for the most critical patients. We offer CPE training opportunities in all major medical specialties. The Center for Spirituality and Health at Mount Sinai welcomes applications for eight positions in the 2016-2017 CPE residency.
