Date:  October 17-18, 2019
Arrive at 2 pm on October 17 and conclude at 3 pm on October 18. 

On Thursday morning and Friday afternoon there will be opportunities to schedule peer review, mock committees and consultation.
If you desire to schedule a meeting room, please indicate your request on the registration form.  You may schedule from 9 am-11 am or 11:30 am-1:30 pm on Thursday or 1 pm-3 pm on Friday afternoon.  You will be responsible for contacting and confirming the colleagues that will participate

Audience:  All Certified Educators, SES students, Clinical members and retired Certified Educator/Supervisors and Clinical Members in the Midwestern area of the United States (MO, IA, NB, KS, CO, IL)

Program Agenda:

Thursday

Welcome members of the CoP to a face to face meeting for the purposes of peer engagement and learning together

Imagining the future of the Central States Consortia Community of Practice with guidance from a member of the Well-Being Committee.  The group will explore current “Best Practices” among functioning Communities of Practice.  A proposal will be developed from the conversation for moving forward as a Community of Practice and presented to the group at lunch on Friday.

Engage a conversation with ACPE Leadership about the current and future opportunities in the ACPE.

Communal Meal and evening together:  A time of sharing and reflection

Learning Presentation:  Emotional Intelligence in the Helping Professions    Christina McLewin, MA  LPC
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase the book, Leadership 2.0 by Travis Bradberry and Jean Grieves and take the survey in the book and receive their results prior to the meeting.  Cost of book on Amazon is between $15-20.

                $100.00 Students, Clinical members and retired supervisors/certified educators

Registration includes:  one night lodging (double occupancy) and three meals.  Costs for room rentals, equipment and speaker fees.
