The HealthCare Chaplaincy is a New York City based nonprofit organization that partners with medical centers, regional healthcare institutions and community hospitals. The Chaplaincy's staff includes more than 30 certified chaplains, seven ACPE supervisors, and six supervisory education residents. HCC enrolls an average of 200 students per year from more than 25 faith groups. If selected, you will be offered a three-year program designed for certification as an ACPE supervisor. The program includes weekly peer review and participation in regional SOS events. You will also have responsibility for clinical coverage as a chaplain. The Ohio State University Medical Center is now accepting applications for a three-CPE unit, full-time residency program (8/27/12 to 8/23/13). Four residents work with a team of staff chaplains in this large and diverse academic medical center of research, patient care, and education. Residents share oncall responsibilities, cover a designated clinical area for the year, and in each CPE unit choose a clinical rotation in specialty areas such as: ICU, Palliative Care, Cardiology, ED, Oncology.
