Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is accepting applications for three ACPE accredited residencies for the 2010-2011 year beginning in August 2010. This is a twelve-month position, offering four units of CPE credit. Residents will receive a stipend of $29,600 plus medical and dental benefits at a reduced rate. Cincinnati Children's Hospital is one of the nation's leading pediatric health care institutions, offering comprehensive medical, surgical, rehabilitative, home care and hospice services. In this family-centered environment, CPE residents are important members of the interdisciplinary care team. The curriculum supplements traditional CPE seminars with mentoring in three specialized areas: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Inpatient Psychiatry, and Blood and Marrow Transplant. In addition, some residents will be able to participate in pastoral care research. Residents gain experience in using spiritual assessments, family systems theory and conflict resolution skills to enhance relationships with patients and staff. CPE on the Coast - New Hanover Regional Medical Center is a 769-bed Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital located on the beautiful Carolina coast in Wilmington, NC .
