Urgent Notice about Marriott Reservations!
Please act as quickly as possible to secure your guest rooms. Our room block has expired but the hotel will honor our rate until it is full. There is another group meeting at the facility and the hotel is expected to be at full capacity! The hotel has a limited number of double-doubles (two beds per rooms).
The Marriott has established a policy of not guaranteeing a room type when you call to secure a reservation. If you are trying to secure a double-double (two beds per room) reservation, you will likely be given the message that they cannot guarantee two beds. The reservationist should be taking your email address and phone number (and, please inform Terry Izaguirre as well so the ACPE staff can monitor the situation also). The staff of the Marriott Kansas City Downtown should be in touch with you within 24 hours of your reservation to confirm your double-double room type. Please know that we have only recently learned of this Marriott practice and we are working to meet the challenge.

Conference Registration
Registration Form
Members must be in good standing at the time of registration to receive member rates. Members of the Spiritual Care Collaborative organizations are invited to register at a special rate. Please read and complete the form carefully as there are many options for your consideration. ACPE Members may register online by logging into their ACPE account.
Registration and Admission Policy
Only registered individuals having a name badge may attend conference plenary sessions, studios or workshops. Also, remember to register and purchase tickets for a participating guest. Registrations will not be accepted by phone. The Early Bird Registration Deadline is March 19, 2010.
Please review the registration options that are available and select the package or individual pricing to best suit your personal needs. Register early as some workshops and events have limited space; registrations are entered in the order they are received and availability cannot be guaranteed. Though every effort will be made to offer additional event tickets at the conference, the availability of tickets after the registration deadline cannot be guaranteed. All student, retired and daily attendees must purchase meal tickets for all chosen events. The ACPE Members Luncheon is for ACPE Members only; tickets will be required at the door.
Meeting Deadlines
March 10th: Last guaranteed date to book room reservations at special conference rates
March 19th: Last postmark or fax date for Early Bird Rates
April 7th: Last postmark or fax date for Pre-Registrations. After this date, registrations will be accepted on-site. All registration forms postmarked or received at the national office after this date will not be processed and registration will need to be completed on-site.
Confirmation Notice
All attendees will receive a confirmation notice by mail within two weeks after the registration is received. If you do not receive a confirmation notice, please call the ACPE office at 404/320-1472.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. All refunds will be processed within 45 days after the conference.
April 1st: Last date for receipt of written cancellations that are eligible to receive a refund of registration and meal ticket fees minus $60 processing fee. Written cancellations received after this date are eligible to receive a refund of registration fees only minus cost of meals and $60 processing fee.
April 9th: Cancellations received after this date are not eligible to receive a refund. However, the courtesy of your notice will be greatly appreciated.

The Kansas City Downtown Marriott is at the heart of a lively urban center. The hotel is a short walk to Kansas City's ultimate entertainment area, the Kansas City Power & Light District. Virtually every kind of cuisine and entertainment can be found in this compact area of downtown. The city's best attractions, including professional sports, theaters, museums, jazz clubs, and shopping are all minutes away. Guests may purchase wireless internet in their room for $9.95 per day.
Hotel Reservations
Call the Reservations Direct Line at 800/228-9290 and reference group code CPECPEA or visit Hotel Reservations.
Reservations must be made no later than March 10, 2010. Our room block has expired but the hotel will honor our rate until it is full. When making reservations, reference must be made to the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education's conference (group code CPECPEA) to obtain the guaranteed conference room rates. Room rates prior to taxes are $149.00 single or double. Check in is at 3pm, check out is at noon.
Hotel cancellations must be received before 6pm on the date of arrival in order to avoid a charge of one night's guest room and tax. If you are going to arrive at a later date than reserved, be sure to change your reservation in order to avoid an increase in your room rate or the cancellation of your reservation.

Transportation
SuperShuttle is available 24-hours a day with reservations to take you to and from the airport. The cost is $17.00 each way, or $28 if a round-trip ticket is purchased. Call 800-BLUE-VAN or visit www.supershuttle.com and enter our group code YAZDV. Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance of your departure time.
Location
The Kansas City Marriott Downtown is located 22 miles south of the airport. Easy driving directions can be found on the Marriott's website.
Parking
The Kansas City Marriott Downtown offers valet parking for overnight guests at a rate of $18.00 per day which includes in/out privileges. Self-parking is available on-site for $13.00 per day. A map with public parking options is available on the ACPE website.
